PsychiaTreat's mission is to provide comprehensive, personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based care to people suffering from mental health disorders.

We are dedicated to offering a wide range of therapeutic modalities ranging from medication management, psychotherapy, and cutting edge treatments.

We deliver an in depth psychiatric evaluation that determines the best treatment for the individual. This can include pharmacologic management as well as individual or group psychotherapy.

Every treatment plan is tailor-made to the patient’s needs.

PsychiaTreat is also a safe and welcoming space for all people including the LGBTQAI+ community. In addition to in-person visits we also offer telehealth services.

Governance Responsibilities

  • Responsible to follow all guidelines of the Bureau of Primary Health Care, US Department of Health and Human Services, New York State Department of Health and New York State Department of Labor, the policies and procedures and the Personnel Policy Handbook of PsychiaTreat.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times as per HIPAA Law and PsychiaTreat policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for reporting any findings of any type of violation to the Chief Operations Officer and to the Chief Compliance Officer as soon as you observe any violation or as soon as a violation is brought to your attention.
  • Project assignments must meet goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizes various professional skills and activities, under supervision, which serve the treatment needs of the client
  • Gathers sufficient information for each client to make a diagnostic assessment necessary to determine assignment priorities and treatment plan or referral to the treatment resources in the community
  • Implements appropriate crisis services when needed to prevent decomposition and moves client toward an appropriate treatment plan and enhances adaptive functioning
  • Shares information about the Agency and its services in order to help clients and other interested parties participate in treatment decisions, set appropriate goals and better understand the functions of the center
  • Helps clients to become effective consumers of mental health and substance abuse services through information sharing, empowerment and transcendence of the stigma associated with those services
  • Maintains client stability through a planned ongoing treatment relationship or assesses and helps implement changes in client functioning when indicated
  • Regularly assesses with supervisor the progress of the client's treatment and is open to recommendations for improvement
  • Assists clients in developing appropriate expectations from treatment
  • Assists the client in understanding the need for cooperation with fee and insurance responsibilities by helping the client understand and resolve psychological and financial obstacles to payment
  • Strengthens the ability of the client to understand and utilize therapy and find resources after treatment has ended through proper discharge planning and termination process
  • Establishes and maintains appropriate and timely clinical case records, including, but not limited to, treatment plans, progress notes and treatment plan reviews, documenting appropriate therapeutic intervention with each client to the Agency, funding, licensing and billing authorities
  • Exchanging information with other agencies that benefits the client, or insures compliance with regulations and coordination of services
  • Facilitate sharing of data with the individuals to whom it applies to facilitate partnered decision-making and to keep clients informed of progress
  • Complete QI Training during onboarding and participate in QI refresher training as needed
  • Ability to cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths, views and experiences

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for attending departmental, quality improvement or other meetings both in PsychiaTreat and outside the facility as directed by the PsychiaTreat executive staff
  • Responsible for participating in general clinical performance improvement activities including regular peer review of your colleagues’ charts.
  • Responsible for participating in quality improvement activities connected with PsychiaTreat.
