Position Summary
The Email Marketing Manager will take the lead with email marketing strategies. Main duties include running email marketing campaigns end-to-end, creating acquisition and lapsed user strategies, managing email databases and consistent reporting on email program metrics.
The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the Donatos brand email campaigns to inform current and new customers about new products and events driving sales for the brand (i.
e., order conversions). The manager will also be responsible to enhance segmentation and help the brand deliver more relevant messages to the customer.
Ultimately, the manager should be able to promote our brand and ensure our customers stay in touch with our company updates, drives restaurant revenue through implementation of email marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts;
prepares marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; and plans and organizes promotional presentations.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Strategize and build email marketing calendar aligning with key brand initiatives and business trends.
- Accountable for all email campaigns, from building subscribers to order conversion and dynamic content.
- Improve email KPIs (deliverability, open rates, click rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue) by developing strong A / B testing.
- Work with creative to design, proofread and implement direct email marketing campaigns.
- Ensure mobile-friendly email templates and monitor usage.
- Develop segmentation strategy and smart messaging; monitor results.
- Manage and report on Winback (lapsed user program).
- Build system knowledge and capability on brand email program.
- Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features.
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Create digital link for Calls-To-Order confirm flash / email dates, pricing, provide link for franchise partners to opt-into Sales Event components.
- Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
- Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
- Monitor competitive email strategy and update team with consistent reporting.
- Manage coupon code configuration and testing to ensure a positive customer experience.

Work Arrangement Options
Donatos has identified this position is eligible for the following work arrangement :
Hybrid Work From Home : The Associate in the position will work 2 days on-site, and 3 days remote
Minimum requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related degree preferred.
Physical Requirements
None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
Previous Experience
- Proven work experience as an Email Marketing manager or Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems.
- Knowledge of SEO / SEM and Google Analytics.
