Job Summary / Basic Function
The Department of Government, Policy, and Law is seeking tutors to attend tutoring hours and assist students as needed. Required Qualifications Must be a current GOVT major in good academic standing during the time of employment.
- Must have taken one or more of the four required Core Course required of a GOVT major : GOVT (Intro to American Government) GOVT (Intro to Comparative Politics) GOVT (Intro to Political Theory) GOVT (Intro to Global Politics)
- Students tutoring must have a B+ or higher in the course(s) they are tutoring.
- Must have approval from Government Supervisor (currently Dr. Adam Lawrence).
- Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).
