Job Title : Laborer

Essential job duties include :

• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
• Uses other hand tools such as wrenches and hammers.
• Tend pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment, or to heat and move materials such as asphalt.
• Set pedestals and handholes.
• Pull in conduit Fiber optic cable and copper cable.
• Operates potholing equipment.
• Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
• Cleans and prepare work sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Enforces company and customer safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Supports, complies with, and participates in HSE Program.
• Performs other duties as needed.
