Job Title : General Production WorkerJob Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the can making process. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the cupping press, body makers, trimmers, and conveying system. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a 4 on 4 off schedule from 6pm to 6am.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain the cupping press, body makers, trimmers, and conveying systems.
• Inspect, upend, and load coils onto the unwinder and feed coils through the lubricator and into the press.
• Perform set-up, maintenance, and operation of the upender, unwinder, lubricator, and cupping press.
• Conduct visual checks and cup weights to ensure compliance with quality standards and take corrective measures as needed.
• Assist in other areas to maintain smooth can flow through the plant.

Work Environment

The role involves working on a rotating 4 on 4 off schedule, from 6pm to 6am. The work environment is dynamic, with a focus on maintaining smooth operations in the can making process. Employees are expected to adhere to safety standards and collaborate effectively to ensure quality production.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.64 - $29.64 / hr.
