The Role

To succeed in this role, you must have a genuine passion for helping and supporting customers, always prioritizing their best interests alongside those of the business.

The main responsibilities include :

Providing industry-leading customer service with innovative solutions to overcome challenges faced by customers.

Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve customer issues.

Collaborating with Grass Valley Support Account Managers and Product Experts to reproduce and resolve issues.

Managing customer communication effectively.

Leading projects to improve support processes and enhance the customer support experience.

Creating tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles.

Handling complex customer problems promptly and accurately.

Logging issues properly within SFDC, JIRA, and support programs.

Managing multiple open issues simultaneously.

Preparing accurate and timely reports.

Producing design and deployment documentation, including solutions using Grass Valley AMPP Technology.

Qualifications for Success

Technology Systems Knowledge :

At least 1 year of relevant experience in the broadcast industry (video or cloud services).

Experience in Broadcast Technical Support, Field Service, Technical Operations, or Professional Services roles preferred.

Experience with CRM systems.

Understanding of broadcast production, media file standards, and applications.

Knowledge of digital and analogue electronics, video, and audio systems.

Basic IP networking skills, including switching, routing, and multicast.

Familiarity with server-based applications and computer networking.

Awareness of security concepts and best practices.

Other Preferred Skills :

Strong customer focus and multi-tasking abilities.

Self-motivated with a passion for technology.

Excellent research, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Fluency in English; additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, or German are advantageous.
