Responsibilities :
Learn and be proficient in duties pertaining to the CSR position including but not restricted to the following :
Duties :
- Have basic knowledge of customers and their requirements
- or know where to get the information if needed
- Accept and process orders in a professional and timely manner
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- By way of email, phone, fax, etc
- Order entry, when required
- Verify order entry and correct when needed
- Make pickup appointments for their respected customers or assignments
- Proficient email correspondence
- Knowledge of regions and customers and how to correlate the corresponding service to those areas
- Knowledge of equipment (liftgate, length of trailers, day cab, sleeper, etc )
- Identify a customer’s situation and applying the proper response or getting assistance
- Help resolve complaints and refers grievances to the designated department for investigation
- Other duties as assigned
Areas of focus :
- Attendance is paramount, lack of attendance affects everyone on the team
- Knowledge of Truckmate, websites, operating systems with regards to all functions pertaining to fulfill all responsibilities
- Knowledge of areas and responsibilities of dispatchers & planners
- Knowledge of transit times and corresponding days of service
- Able to use tools that assist in comprehending situations (orb-com, command center, Q-tracs, etc )
- Be able to use share file information and apply as needed (Daily pass down, etc ) and take corrective action when required
- Work with team members in a professional manner
- Have a good attitude
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $16.00 - $20.00
