Come join our team as a Logistics Supervisor. In this role, you will be directing the work of Warehouse personnel and Shipping & Receiving Technicians to achieve the most efficient flow of materials from Receiving through all converting operations while meeting customer delivery dates.
Work with internal resources to develop and improve the flow of materials through the operation. Develop processes to efficiently move WIP raw materials and finished products between Belmark manufacturing facilities.

Schedule : 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m., Monday - Friday
What will I do in this role?
- Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
- Ensure that raw material inventories are accurate.
- Assist Shipping & Receiving and Warehouse personnel as necessary to meet customer needs.
- Assign, instruct and coordinate the work of all Shipping & Receiving and Warehouse personnel.
- Solve daily shipping / receiving and warehouse problems.
- Coordinate daily production needs with Press, Finishing, Shipping and Production Administration.
- Take corrective action to eliminate problems.
- Responsible for coaching and motivation of personnel.
- Assist with the development of annual plans for personnel, processes and equipment improvements.
- Coordinate maintenance requests.
- Ensure proper staffing to meet straight time achievement of shipping / receiving and warehouse needs.
- Assist with performance reviews, attendance records, scheduling vacations, time card accuracy and pay recommendations.
- Provide verbal and written feedback and training in proper processes and techniques to Shipping & Receiving and Warehouse personnel.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
- Knowledge of the English language and the ability to write legibly.
- Must be certified to operate a forklift and clamp truck.
- Must be an effective verbal and written communicator.
- Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Ability to operate a computer.
- Requires two (2) years of warehouse experience.
- Ability to meet deadlines. Will be required to work some overtime.
- Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
- Must be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to : stand for 90% of work time; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
- Ability to : see clearly at 20 inches; ability to identify and distinguish colors; ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while yes are fixed on a given point;
and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
- Ability to : use hands for 100% of work time ( e.g. stacking rolls, utility knife, etc.); and reach above shoulders for 25% of work time.
- Ability to lift : 10 pounds or less 20% of work time; 25 pounds or less 20% of work time; 50 pounds or less 50% of work time;
and 100 pounds or less 10% of work time. ( E.g. : lift stock approximately 6 feet on to and off of the power cart.)
