Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Outpatient Breast Surgery

Work Schedule : 100% FTE, Monday- Friday between the hours of 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm.

No weekends, holidays, or call.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Description : As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to :

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with breast disorders, including the spectrum of diseases from benign abnormalities to breast cancer survivorship.
• Provide care and educate patients on high-risk treatment strategies, wellness care, and treatment plans for benign changes.
• See patients with benign breast problems, post-operative complications, follow patients who are high risk for breast cancer, and follow breast cancer survivor patients.
• Collaborate with the team to develop, manage, and modify treatment plans for patients at high risk for breast cancer.
• Treat patients with breast cancer risk factors through multidisciplinary care by Surgical Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Genetic Counselors, and Radiation Oncologists.

Education : Minimum - If Nurse Practitioner : Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant : Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner* :

• Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.

These may include the following : Adult; Adult / Gerontology Primary Care; Family. If Physician Assistant* :

• Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active PA board certification All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have* : Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
• Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice.
