Position : Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Location : Aurora, CO Clearance : Active TS / SCI with CI Polygraph Sign-On Bonus Eligible : Yes DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is in search of a seasoned Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to enhance the efficiency of our internal operations at our headquarters in Aurora, Colorado.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in collaborating with information assurance managers, encompassing the meticulous review of various documents such as systems security plans (SSPs), risk assessment reports, accreditation packages, and Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- 5+ years of experience in one of the following areas : knowledge of current security tools, hardware / software security implementation, communication protocols or encryption techniques / tools
- 5+ years of experience with developing Risk Management Framework products and working through system accreditations.
- 5+ years of experience supporting administrative functions within Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow and Tenable
- Knowledge of systems and network security, auditing, and user authentication
- Solid understanding and experience with the Risk Management Framework.
- Experience with national security information system related security requirements (e.g. JSIG, ICD 503, RMF, DAAPM or NISPOM) to include technical computer / network system auditing.
- Experience in the oversight and execution of the Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Experience creating and presenting documentation and management reports.
- Perform on-call duties as needed.
Special Duties : DeNOVO is an agile company where our team members support operations outside of the standard bounds of a job description.
In this role, the ISSO will have the have the following, but not limited to, special duties.
Collaborate, advise, and support compliance focused on Program Security, Personnel Security, and Physical Security.
Required Education & Certifications :
- Five (5) years' experience as an ISSO or a security focused System Administrator or Network Engineer
- Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas : knowledge of current security tools, hardware / software security implementation;
communication protocols; and encryption techniques / tools.

Security Clearance Requirement :
Must possess an active TS / SCI with CI polygraph.
Salary Range : $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 (Commensurate with experience) Note : The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation.
