Inova Franconia-Springfield Ambulatory Surgery Center is currently hiring a Full-Time (4x10), seasoned Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to become an integral member of our team, delivering unparalleled care to our patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Scrub / Circulate surgical procedures
- Providing communication between team members in the surgical field and persons outside the operating room
- Maintaining sterile environment during the surgical procedure
- Conducting and documenting sponge / sharps and instrument counts as required during the surgical procedure
- Completing intra-operative documentation of the procedure
- Acting as the patient's advocate during patient's stay in the operating room
- Assisting with room turnover, including disposal of trash and linen, cleaning of OR table and floor, assembly and opening of sterile supplies
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- One year operating room nursing experience is required
- Three or more years of scrub and circulating experience is highly desired
- RN Graduate from an accredited nursing institution, BSN preferred
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia
- BLS Certification required
