Job Description : We are excited to announce a flexible opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist in Rainbow, CA. This position offers the option to work full-time or part-time, tailored to suit the needs of the successful candidate.
Ideal for a dedicated SLP, this role involves enhancing student communication skills and supporting academic success in a dynamic school setting.
Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring personalized and effective interventions.
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive student support.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and adjust therapy plans based on assessments and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the school team to promote an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
