About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing general contractor headquartered in Chicago. They are looking to add an assistant project manager with K-12 project experience to join their team .
They value employees who are ambitious, entrepreneurial, and self starters, and look for long term fits. This client generates $60-80m per year annually.
This role will be mainly remote.
Job Description
- Help project manager develop detailed project plans, including time-lines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Only on-site one day a week, in office for other 4.
- Ability to estimate during the project
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion
- Ensure that projects are completed within the scope, time-line, and budget outlined in the project plan
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project schedules, and progress reports
- Report directly into project manager

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
- 1+ years of experience in Construction
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
- JOC experience is required
