DDC Engineer / Programmer
Attention all experienced DDC Engineers and Programmers! Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity?
Look no further! We are seeking a Senior DDC Engineer / Programmer to join our dynamic team at a leading facility engineering services company.
As a Senior DDC Engineer / Programmer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical expertise by independently resolving complex problems and guiding others.
You will also play a key role in team leadership, working closely with installers and other DDC technicians. Your excellent customer interaction skills will be essential in understanding current systems and making recommendations for enhancements.
You will also collaborate with our Business Development and Service teams to expand new construction and service contracts.
Key qualifications include :
- Complete technical competence on DDC systems
- Ability to design and develop project Control Drawings
- Experience programming controllers and devices for Building Automation System projects
- Strong knowledge of Building Control Sequences
- Familiarity with BACnet system design and networks
- Experience with programming software for multiple controls manufacturers
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and control drawings
- Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in servicing and programming DDC and HVAC systems
Preferred experience / competencies :
- Certification in Schneider, Delta, Niagara, or Alerton systems
- Willingness to travel (not required)
- Minimum of 5 years with one employer (a plus)
