Schedule Information
- Shift : Night
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 48 / 36
- Weekend Hours : 36 (unless otherwise noted)
- Call Requirements : None
- Float Requirements : yes IMC RN's may float to another IMC level of care unit within MMC. IMC RN's will float to med / surg as needed.
Med / surg RN's may float to another med / surg unit with similar level of care. Floating is based on unit need and skill as well as the needs of nursing units.
Unit Specific Information
- Number of Beds : 43
- Patient Ratios : Day Shift Med / Surg 1 : 4-5, Night Shift Med / surg 1 : 5-6, Day and Night IMC 3 : 1
- Equipment : Specific to our IMC patients : Ventilators, BiPaP, CPAP. Both IMC and Med Tele equipment : CPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non Rebreather, Epidural pumps, IV pumps, specialty beds, PCA pumps, VAC dressings, Trach care / maintenance
- EMR : Epic
- Type of Patients on Unit : Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
- Personality Fit : teamwork, flexibility, good communication, patient centered care
