Job Title : Identity Analyst
Location : New York City, NY (Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)
Overview : Our direct client in NYC, NY, is seeking an Identity Analyst with a strong background in Identity Management and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
The ideal candidate will have intermediate-level SQL skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
This role requires a candidate with a learning-driven personality and a strong work ethic, eager to tackle new challenges and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities :
Engage with end-users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate, and endorse requirements.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria for the development of software features within an agile process.
Create detailed product specifications and assist in the elaboration of user stories and requirements during implementation.
Support team members with their work as needed and proactively contribute to Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop traceability from business requirements to functional specifications and technical designs, ensuring test plans are aligned with requirements.
Deliver internal training for new features to team members and end-users, including identifying training needs, preparing materials, and conducting sessions.
Key Qualifications :
Understanding of Identity Management, RBAC, and ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control).
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Intermediate-level SQL skills for Identity Management-related analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to write clear and concise business requirements.
Inquisitive and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to addressing new project challenges.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in automating access provisioning based on personnel or HR data, such as job codes or licensing credentials.
Familiarity with Active Directory group management and access control automation.
Additional Information :
This position requires the candidate to be onsite in New York City two days per week.
The role involves a typical project scenario where access requests for applications are managed, analyzed, and potentially automated, ensuring compliance and security through RBAC or ABAC.
