The impact you will have : School psychologists in San José Unified collaborate with students, staff, families, and other support providers to inspire our students to discover their own greatness.

As a member of our Special Education team, our School Psychologists perform assessments, set student goals, and participate in IEP meetings.

Who you are : A reliable professional who is relentlessly committed to student success. You work well independently, as well as within a team.

You have outstanding communication skills and effectively collaborate with students, staff, families, and our community.

What you bring :

  • Resume and Letter of Introduction outlining desire and qualifications for this position
  • Two (2) letters of reference from prior supervisors
  • Transcripts of your undergraduate degree, and graduate degrees if applicable. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for application purposes only.
  • If you are an international applicant, you will need to submit a transcript evaluation that will state what your degree is equivalent to in California.

  • Please submit a redacted, psycho-educational report that you have written for our review. If you have not written a formal psycho-educational report, please submit a sample report from your coursework.
  • Spanish preferred (Native speaker desirable)
