Clemente Orthodontics is looking for a dedicated team member to join our growing practice in Bergen and Rockland Counties.
This individual should be upbeat, self-motivated, a team player, kind and welcoming to our patients and parents - creating a great experience and lasting impression of our office.
Our ideal candidate requires NO prior dental experience but has a willingness and ability to be trained and to ultimately complete a dental assisting licensing program for the State of New Jersey.
They should have good computer skills, excellent communication, and a drive to eventually be a fully licensed dental assistant.
We will fully reimburse for any relevant coursework that is successfully completed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to after proper training and licensure where applicable :
- Greeting patient in a warm and friendly manner
- Charting
- Sterilization
- Making Appointments
- Cross Trained to answer phone calls, take payments, input documents into charts
- Communication regarding treatment to patient and the doctors
- Chairside Orthodontic Assisting
- Itero Scanning
- Taking panoramic X-Rays
- Removing and replacing arch and ligature wires and ties
- Assisting during bonding procedures
COVID 19 Considerations : All employees are required to wear a mask at all times. We provide Kn95 and N95 masks, face shields, goggles, hair coverings, level 3 masks, and all required PPE to our staff.
The safety to our staff and patients is the upmost importance to us.
