SFB Airport Incumbent Transportation Security Officer

VMD is currently seeking applicants from existing personnel performing Transportation Security Officer services at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB).

What you will do :

Grow in a fulfilling career as a Transportation Security Officer at the Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) working alongside a team of aviation security professionals.

You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while ensuring passenger safety by identifying and preventing unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft.

Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to :

• Passenger and Baggage Screening
• Operating various screening equipment.
• Communicating and interacting with travelers

What you will need :

• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Pass a computerized assessment (grammar and ability to interpret X-rays)
• Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam)
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass a TSA background and financial records check
• Ability to work any day, Monday - Sunday, and any shift between 12 : 00 AM and 11 : 59 PM
