As a CBRE Senior Program Manager, you will lead a team responsible for facilitating medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs.
This job is part of the Program Management function, responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Develop the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
- Lead all aspects of large cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.
- Ensure that all functions remain on schedule and resolve any issues to complete the program on time.
- Lead internal and external relationships in support of programs.
- Work with key partners to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.
- Create and distribute routine PMO reports, including status reports and updated Gantt charts.
- Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new methods for accomplishing objectives.
- Showcase expertise in your job field and in-depth knowledge of other job fields within the organization.
- Mentor others to develop knowledge and expertise in various areas within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.
- Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans in support of functional goals.
- Communicate complex ideas with the ability to influence.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance measurement preferred.
- Innovative mentality to develop methods beyond existing solutions.
- Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
- Highly sophisticated math skills for complex calculations.
