WORK SCHEDULE
This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Please indicate your preferred schedule in your application.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities) :
The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to support DDL’s facilities by maintaining and repairing equipment and procuring supplies, parts, and services as necessary.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on test equipment.
- Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with working with outside service providers and vendors.
- Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with maintaining a reasonable inventory of parts and supplies.
- Installation and qualification of new or used equipment.
- Due to the unpredictability of mechanical systems, the ability to work overtime after regular work hours or on weekends may be necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications) :
- Two-year technical degree in HVAC or similar
- Understanding of facilities and maintenance concepts
- Advanced environmental chamber functionality
- Blueprint reading
- EPA certified to handle refrigerant
- Microsoft Office
- Must bend / twist at the waste consistently on a daily basis, must be able to lift 20 lbs. consistently on a daily basis.
