Position Overview

JCSI, a recruitment consulting firm, is working with AtkinsRéalis to find a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead project-level electrical engineering activities on a remote basis.

You will manage multi-office project executions, oversee electrical design teams, and ensure that project deliverables meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations.

This role is perfect for experienced professionals who enjoy working on cutting-edge projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design teams remotely on major projects, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Review and prepare electrical designs, specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Interface directly with clients on project electrical matters.
• Coordinate with the Department Manager to ensure project goals align with client expectations.
• Conduct remote support for field investigations, collaborating with on-site teams as needed.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving engineering techniques, processes, and standards.
• Manage cross-functional coordination with other engineering disciplines to maintain quality.
• Generate work-hour estimates, monitor budgets, and adhere to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Required :
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• 10-12 years of experience in the architectural / engineering industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel / Word.
• Experience in industrial, biotech, pharmaceutical, and food facility projects.
• Preferred :
• Experience with Revit.
• Background in infrastructure planning and environmental consulting.
