We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and enhance manufacturing processes by leveraging in-house tooling design and engineering expertise.
The role focuses on ensuring precision tolerance, high quality, short lead times, and cost efficiency. Additional value-added services include assembly, machining, welding, and surface treatments.
Responsibilities :
- Design and conduct research programs to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.
- Develop and modify manufacturing methods and equipment, collaborating with equipment vendors.
- Enhance manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Ensure product and process quality by designing testing methods and confirming manufacturing processes.
- Provide decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations and coordinating maintenance services.
- Support machine shop operations (50%).
- Develop continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes / methods (25%).
- Document and revise production area processes (25%).
Qualifications :
- BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials / Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in a high-precision, machine shop environment.
- Strong understanding of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing tools.
- Proficient in CAD and CAD / CAM circuit design.
- Experience with CNC machinery equipment.
- Solid project engineering and team skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Capable of performing well in a fast-paced, medium-sized company environment.
- Ability to motivate employees and work collaboratively with different teams.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.

- Good organizational and presentation skills.
- Tech-savvy is a plus.
- Capable of working with theoretical presentations on floor issues with operators, technicians, supervisors, and managers.
