Job Description

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Architect to join our Minotaur team and help us build and maintain secure systems and networks.
As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our team's cybersecurity infrastructure.
You will work closely with our IT and security teams to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure that our organization's security measures are always at the forefront of the industry.
The ideal candidate will work a hybrid schedule and must be able to work from our Hanover, MD location 3 days per week. You must also have a willingness to travel.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.
Ensures system security needs established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning and provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis.
Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber security architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis of cyber security features and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integration and testing issues.
May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in Linux environment, able to debug and implement security configurations
- Familiarity with using Linux scripts
- Familiar with ACAS / Nessus / Tenable application & scanning
- Knowlege with DISA STIG process & procedures
- Proficient with creating mitigation statements & remediating vulnerabilities
- Must have an active US Secret security clearance
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledgeable in eMASS
- Demonstrated knowledge in Cyber ATO process
- DoD 8570 baseline certifications such as CompTIA Security+

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
