JOB REQUIREMENTS

SUMMARY :   The Furniture Product Development Coordinator plays a key role in bringing new products to life by coordinating between design, sourcing, vendors, and internal teams. This role ensures development timelines, samples, and product data are accurate and delivered on schedule.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Coordinate the end-to-end product development process for assigned furniture categories.
  • Track product timelines, sample status, and approval stages; update the product development trackers.
  • Maintain accurate product data, specifications, and images in company systems (e.g., Excel, Netsuite).
  • Communicate daily with overseas vendors to track sample progress, resolve issues, and request updates.
  • Review and check pre-production and production samples for quality, materials, and finishes.
  • Support design and merchandising teams with product information, switches, and dimensions.
  • Communicate Product delays to the product Development, Merchant, and planning teams.
  • Provide administrative support for Product Development, including accurate data entry and tracking of new developments in the product lifecycle management system.
  • Uphold our core values and be a valuable member of the Classic Home Team.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Design, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in furniture, home décor, or consumer product development.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including cross-cultural correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required); PLM or ERP software experience a plus.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for design, furniture, and creating beautiful products.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Works with a sense of urgency with the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Normal for office environment
  • Ability to work sitting down with 30% of walking in the course of the day.

    Pay :  $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
