We are hiring a full-time Clinical Lab Technologist for one of our premier clients. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about laboratory work and pathology.
The selected applicant will receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and process pathological slides for diagnostic purposes
- Run tissue processors to produce paraffin blocks
- Embed pathology specimens and cut on a rotary microtome
- Perform routine and special staining techniques
- Ensure high-quality control standards and accurate distribution of cases
- Assist with Immunohistochemistry procedures and other lab tasks
Qualifications :
- Experience in histological techniques (paraffin embedding, staining, microtomy)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and prioritize tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a physical science, medical technology preferred
- New York State Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist License is required and at least 2 years experience in histological procedures
Benefits
Salary Range : $82,000 - $103,000 (DOE) + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Shift : 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
