Job Description :
Will provide EHS program support services with a focus on the environmental and sustainability programs.
Responsibilities :
- Will be inspecting and maintaining hazardous waste accumulation areas, oversee hazardous waste pickup, interact with consultant and regulator on the SCAQMD RECLAIM program
- Help manage pollution prevention and waste minimization program, involved in Tier 2 reporting, and help implement initiatives from BU sustainability program.
Requirements :
- Strong understanding of the California Environmental regulations, such as Southern California Air Quality Management District, Environmental Protection Agency, and local Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA).
- Monitor and analyze environmental performance metrics to track progress and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stake holders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives into business operations.
- Engage with stake holders, including employees, suppliers, customers, and leaders to promote environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives.
- Able to perform root cause analysis
- 2 years in the field of Environmental, Health, and Safety
- Culture : Collaborative team environment and as an independent contributor
Education :
