$150,000 – $155,000 base salary

This is a hybrid technical and customer-facing position, blending engineering design, field support, and SEL programming. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and collaboratively across multiple projects and departments.
Key Responsibilities :
Automation & Source Transfer : Design, test, and support commissioning for advanced distribution automation and source transfer applications for utility and commercial / industrial clients.Proposal Development : Contribute to project proposals with detailed cost estimates and technical insights to support a successful bidding process.Field & Commissioning Support : Collaborate with Field Service teams during commissioning and provide post-deployment support to ensure optimal system performance.Standards & Protocols : Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and communication protocols for all protection and control initiatives.Training & Enablement : Develop and deliver technical training for both internal teams and external customers to enhance product and system understanding.Technology Watch : Stay up to date on the latest tools, products, and methodologies in the power systems space and apply them effectively to projects.Mentorship : Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for growth through collaboration and regular engagement.Process Improvement : Enhance Standard Work Practices to streamline design and execution, simplify workflows, and improve efficiency across teams.Safety Leadership : Model and promote safe work practices, ensuring compliance with company and industry safety standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with sales, engineering, product development, operations, and safety teams to align initiatives and support organizational goals.Communication & Reporting : Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders using clear, effective communication methods.Qualifications :
Bachelors in Engineering a must, Masters preferredExperience in programming SEL relaysExperience in protection / automationExperience with SCADA10 years of relevant work experience
