In this role as Category Manager, Amazon Warehouse you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer experience and recovery performance for key categories.

Amazon Resale (AR) You will work closely with teams from returns, marketing, product evaluation, repair, and finance to establish KPIs and measure performance.
This role requires a strategic leader with program management, retail / category management, and financial acumen to further improve our ReCommerce channel performance.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and lead weekly, monthly, and annual business reviews and sales planning processes for non-new inventory.
Establish and lead implementation of non-new category insights and business strategies, driving prioritization and mitigation of risks substantiated and balanced by sound business / market rationale and thought leadership.
Identify new approaches for growing the business, driving initiatives to increase non-new awareness, and creating processes to better manage the performance of the non-new category over the long term.
Have a complete understanding of non-new customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide non-new shoppers with a best-in-class shopping experience.
Partner with retail teams in offline and online channels regarding strategic business planning and upstream category growth drivers to identify opportunities to increase recovery for Amazon Resale.
Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and business trends / events, and continually monitor competitor / industry developments.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, using exceptional communication skills, while meeting tight deadlines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, retail, operations, business management / program management with a proven history of delivering results
- 5+ years of experience in retail / category management
- Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating
- Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
- Strong analytic skills and financial acumen
- Category, retail, or vendor management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex financial data
- Track record of delivering results, setting strategy, and running a large volume and high-profile business
- High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced environment figuring it out and adapting as you go
- Ability to influence and inspire action in others
- Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a passion for executing strategy to deliver business results
- Experience presenting to Senior Management
