Field Service Technician

Kelly is hiring a Field Service Technician for one of our clients in Columbus OH

• Onsite at a client site
• Part Time : 8 AM to 12 PM (4 hours)

Monday, Wednesday and Friday

• Pay : $22 / hr
• 3 month contract

Job Responsibilities

• Change cartridge filters in RO trailer
• Take inventory readings in chemical product tanks
• Replace empty drums / totes with new ones

Qualifications :

Mechanical skills : general hands-on skills, plumbing (electrical would be an asset, but not required)

Physically able to lift 50-lbs

No need for a college degree, but I would say High School is good enough. As for the background, the candidate should have experience or at least familiarity with industrial settings like a steel mill.

Someone who has worked behind a desk or in a lab all his life might find it hard to work in a dirty, hazardous, and loud environment that a steel mill is.

I would totally see a former operator in a manufacturing shop or some industrial maintenance role.
