Schools in Boilinbrookt, ILare actively seeking multiple passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join theirteam for the upcoming school year.
As an SLP, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in students across different age groups and educational settings.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs in educational settings.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in speech-language pathology.
Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligible for clinical fellowship year (CFY).
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, students, and families.
