Medical Technologist – Full-Time Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Technologist to join a highly respected healthcare facility's laboratory team located Central Michigan! What You’ll Do :

Perform a wide range of lab analyses including chemical, hematologic, serologic, immunohematologic, microscopic, and microbiologic testing

Process and analyze specimens to aid in diagnosis and treatment

Operate modern instrumentation and perform manual testing as needed

Complete STAT tests (CBC, PTT, Protime, cardiac enzymes, etc.) within designated turnaround times

Accurately report results and maintain quality control documentation

Troubleshoot lab instrumentation and resolve complex testing issues

Prepare reagents and maintain lab equipment through preventive maintenance

Utilize computer systems to manage test orders and results efficiently

Train new staff and students, and contribute to a culture of learning and improvement

Support patient safety, confidentiality, and age-specific care standards

Participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with lab policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For :

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science

Certification or eligibility through ASCP, AMT, HEW (HHS), or equivalent

Experience with high-complexity testing and clinical laboratory operations

Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
