The individual in this key role will help establish the vision, lead product definition, and oversee the development of a new class of products, maintaining oversight from cradle to grave.
Customer Engagement
Build close relationships with flagship customers and potential customers, establishing clear priorities for product definition and communicating to all internal stakeholders
Market Analysis and Marketing
- Lead market analysis to identify new opportunities that enable the company to capture new revenue
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies and launch plans with clear analysis
- Engage cross-functionally to drive marketing activities such as sales meetings, tradeshows, press and industry announcements
Technology Development
- Drive the vision, definition, launch, and optimization of the client’s advanced solutions for optical interconnectivity, aimed at the enterprise data center market
- Execute product delivery by working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations teams to forecast and build products that satisfy customer targets
Qualifications
- Technical engineering degree required (MSEE preferred) and MBA is a plus
- 15-20 years of experience in Product Definition, Product Ownership, Product Management, or relevant customer-facing functions with a technical focus
- Deep technical expertise in optical technology and advanced interconnect protocols driving the industry such as PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, etc
- Experience building revolutionary - rather than evolutionary - products in domains such as optical interconnect, signal processing, high-speed data transfer, and silicon photonics
- Expansive industry knowledge of the enterprise server and data center markets including key customers; a keen ability to identify emerging opportunities
- Proficiency in the system requirements of next-gen compute workloads, related to AI
- An intimate knowledge of system-level network architectures
