The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to counseling staff, provides counseling services to both youth and adult clients, carries out agency policies, remains professionally current, and represents the agency to the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop individualized training plans and expectations in coordination with program participants and reflective of the goals of educational institutions;
  • Monitor training plan accomplishments and work with prospective and current workforce placement participants to ensure personal professional goals are being met as well as institution of higher education’s requirements;
  • Complete the initial assessment for clients that will be assigned to the intern.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and agreements for workforce training placements in coordination with institutions of higher education and other community jobs training programs;
  • Coordinate with agency executive and management teams to identify capacity for providing workforce training placements and quality of educational experience
  • Provide for or provide certified professional supervision to program participants
  • Ensure program activities are in accordance with state, federal and union labor regulations and agreements
  • Represent the agency and executive team to external partners on workforce development policies and needs

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or other related field is required.
  • Two years of advanced, postgraduate training in at least one theoretical / practical treatment approach and experience with program management and program development are also required.
  • LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the State of Oregon, Clinical Supervision Certification, and QMHP are required.
  • Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles / barriers.
  • Adheres to and applies established operational processes in a timely, appropriate way
  • Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
  • Moves equipment / materials weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Travels between worksites occasionally
  • Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, institutions of higher education and faith-based settings such as churches
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program

Vacation includes up to 2 weeks in the first year, with an increase up to 3 weeks in the second year (based on hours worked).
