Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced OBGYN physician to work locum shifts in Grand Island, Nebraska (NE) Starting in October or as soon as credentialed , the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Obstetrics and Gynecology role : This role supports a 1 : 2 practice model and includes clinic, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, and 24-hour call responsibilities. Clinic 24-hour call Weekend Requirements : Yes Clinic Schedule : 20 contact hours / week (3 half-days 1 full day) Surgery Days : Monday AM and Friday AM Clinic Hours : 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (half-day options available) Coverage Dates Needed : December 19 - December 28, 2025 Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive OB / GYN care in clinic and hospital settings Perform gynecologic surgeries and manage labor and delivery Participate in city-wide call rotation and CNM backup Support urgent clinic needs as required. EMR : Epic Additional Notes : Average 10-20 clinic patients / day Less than 1 delivery or surgery per day Call is not in-house but must be within 30 minutes for emergencies Clinic-only or call-only candidates may be considered, with preference for call coverage Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role : NE license active and unrestricted, or IMLC (LOQ in hand) BC-Obstetrics / Gynecology BLS, NRP, DEA Benefits : Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
