Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Management

The Department of Management at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Lecturers to teach in its Bachelor’s program.This is a one-year appointment.

All areas of Management will be considered. The appointment involves teaching at the undergraduate level. Successful candidate will be expected to be engaged with our students, faculty, and staff to help enhance the effectiveness of our business school.

Additional Information UTRGV is a distributed institution. As such and as assigned, the position mayrequire presence at multiple locations throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

Work isperformed primarily in a general office environment. This position is security sensitiveand thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code 51.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System ofTexas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least days in length.

This position has the option to elect the Optional RetirementProgram (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per weekand at least days in length.
