About The Position

must be flexible for scheduling Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : Minimum 2 years of current experience in IMC / CC, Emergency Department, and Medical-Surgical License : West Virginia RN License Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Flexibility and adaptability to float to various departments as needed- Previous travel experience of one-plus year Job Description : This position is part of the Float Pool, requiring adaptability to shift to Intermediate Care-Tele, Med-Surg, Skilled Care, Surgical Services, and other departments as needed.
- Facility will not accept travelers with a permanent address within 50 miles.- A maximum of 5 days of requested time off during the assignment, which must be noted and verified at submission.
- Adherence to the three-strike rule for call-offs; after three call-offs, the contract is eligible for termination due to attendance issues.
- Patient ratio : IMC 1 : 4 or 1 : 5; Med-Surg unit ratios can be 1 : 6.- Dress code : Traveler-provided navy blue scrubs.
- Level 4 Trauma Center.- Non-billable orientation : 8 hours.- Weekend and holiday rotation required.- Compliance with hospital policies and maintaining standards of care.
