Key Personnel is seeking candidates for a Medical Assistant opening with a Gastroenterology Clinic in the Tulsa, OK area.
Temp to hire role!
Medical Assistant Pay Rate : $18 / hr.
Medical Assistant Hou rs : Monday-Friday from 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
Medical Assistant Job Duties :
- Updating and filing medical records
- Handling patient insurance information and correspondence
- Scheduling appointments
- Rooming patients along with vitals
- Answering phone calls and greeting patients
- Assisting with the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of conscious sedation
- Carrying out pre and post-procedure patient education
- Assisting with colonoscopy / endoscopy procedures
- Informing patients on changes that should be made to diet in order to maintain a healthy GI tract
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and other supplies for procedures
