The Opportunity :

Everyone knows security needs to be baked in to a system architecture, but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface.

We’re looking for an architect who can create solutions for our DoD client that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a Cybersecurity Zero T rus t Architect on our project, you’ll lead the architecture and design efforts of innovative cybersecurity solutions and service offerings to protect federal government networks.

You’ll coordinate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identify the right mix of tools and te chn iques to translate your customer’s IT security needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions.

We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new te chn iques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going.

You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to security architecture design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs.

Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating cybersecurity te chn ologies and solutions, including IoT, OT, and Cloud security, Automation and Orchestration ( A & O ) , identity and access management, c ond itional based access, attribute-based access control, and micro-segmentation.

You Have :

• 7+ years of experience with IT operations or cybersecurity supporting DoD agencies
• 7+ years of experience leading te chn ical project delivery for large, complex organizations
• Experience architecting Zero T rus t solutions, roadmaps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, CISA Maturity Model, or DoD Zero T rus t Strategy
• Experience leading product selection initiatives, including automation and orchestration, visibility and analytics, secure DevOps, identity and access management, c ond itional based access, attribute-based access control, or micro-segmentation
• Ability to work with and guide senior leaders, including CISO, CIO, and CTO, and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation
• Ability to collaborate with project and proposal teams to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high quality implementation plans and roadmaps
• Ability to author te chn ical documentation, whitepapers, and blogs on leading cybersecurity topics and concepts
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Security+ CE Certification

Nice If You Have :

• Experience in a cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role
• Experience with shipboard IT and security systems
• Experience with innovative cybersecurity capabilities, including A & O, AI and machine learning, NGFW, and Big Data
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Oracle, or GCP Cloud architectures and designs
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• TS / SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
