About The Position

Job Title : RN-Neonatal ICU-Nights Job Specialty : RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night (7 PM - 7 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Completion of accredited / approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours required;

direct patient care experience preferred. License : RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Must-Have : - BLS Certification - NRP Certification - RN Licensure Job Description : Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence-based practice.

• Provide relationship-based patient-centered care considering population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery for cultural diversity.
• Partner with patients and significant others in care, maintaining communication and focusing on patient goals.- Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care with interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation.
• Demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, and fiscal responsibility, supporting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
• Support performance improvement, research, and shared governance.- Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, mandatory and population-specific education.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor, promoting a qualified workforce and a healthy work environment.- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement, upholding health care policies and accreditation requirements.
• Plan for patient care across the care continuum, developing protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
• Support the efficient use of human and material resources.- Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.- Work includes three weekend shifts in a four-week schedule, and two major and two minor holidays are required.
