Assistant Nurse Manager- Emergency Department

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides direct nursing supervision on the unit ensuring comprehensive and quality patient care.

The Assistant Nurse Manager assists with day-to-day management of unit operations. This position assists with oversight of clinical and resource utilization, patient throughput, quality assessment and improvement, patient / staff / provider satisfaction, interpretation of policies and procedures, staff education and regulatory compliance.

Participates in the selection and evaluation of staff as delegated by the director and / or Nurse Manager.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Upon hire : Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years Acute care nursing experience within the last 5 years.
