YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY :

The Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing and completing bid / submittal documents and cost estimatesforelectricalconstructionprojects.

TheSeniorEstimatoristheLeadEstimatorforprojectsand works with other Estimators, suppliers, and customers to complete the estimate.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Prepareestimatefromquantitytake-offonprojectandcompleteestimatetocomputerprintout.

Identifypartsofprojectthatmaybekeytomakingacompetitiveestimate.

Reviewproposalspecifications,drawings,andattendpre-bidmeetingstodeterminescopeofwork and required contents of estimate.

Evaluateareasforpotentialvalueengineeringcostsavings.

Provideleadershiptopersonnelpreparingdisciplinesubestimatesforassignedbids.

Ensureallworkingdocumentsanddataaremaintainedtoback-upestimatefigures.

Developlaborproductivityand(installationunitcostswhere applicable)basedonprojectedsite conditions and historical data.

Preparedetailedlistingofmaterialandequipmentitemsfortheestimateandtoobtainquotes.

Identifyqualifiedsuppliers / subcontractorsandberesponsibleforsolicitingquotes.Reviewquotesfor completeness and conformance with plans and specs.

Responsibleforthetimelycompletionofallclient-requireddocuments.

Draftscope / proposallettersforbidandnegotiatedprojects.

Priortotheissuingoftheformalbidpackage,providetheChiefEstimator withadetailedreviewof scope, technical requirements, and pricing for the estimated bid package.

After the successful bid at project turnover, meet with the Project Management departments to fullyexplainjobscope,potentialareasofattentionandotheraspectsforthesuccessfultransitionof the project.

Maintainfilesofallworkingdocumentstoback-upestimatefiguresandupdatetheRosendin approved estimating program.

ExperienceinAccubidestimatingsoftware,LivecountCloud,andBluebeam software preferred

ExperienceinCADor3Dsoftwarepreferred

Canbeacombinationofeducation,training,andrelevant experience

WORKINGCONDITIONS :

Generalworkenvironment-sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

Pay Range

$116,000.00-$152,300.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description.
