Position Summary : The Network Administrator responsibilities include implementation, and administration of several core infrastructure components.

Works closely with the Network Engineer and System Engineer Teams on all aspects of the following technologies : Enterprise WAN / LAN, Disaster Recover, Network Security, Data Center and edge Route / Switch, Secure File Transfers, Enterprise Wireless, Data Center Management, Network Access Management, Server and workstation Operating Systems, and application infrastructure for the enterprise network.

NOTE : This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity 3 days per week and 2 days in office located in Lincoln, NE under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.

Essential Functions :

  • Apply knowledge of routing, switching, LAN, WAN, network design and implementation, network troubleshooting, network hardware configuration and network performance tuning to implement and administer core infrastructure.
  • Perform firmware updates on network hardware, routers, switches, access points, etc.
  • Perform windows updates and software updates on network management platforms.
  • Configure and maintain an enterprise environment utilizing OSPF, BGP, Wireless networking, Data Center UPS, Cooling, Power, and Rack Management, SFTP.
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure in cloud environments.
  • Participate in projects, provide project status updates, and create detailed technical documentation.
  • Assist the technical teams with escalated support calls.
  • Maintain and comply with bank’s policies, procedures, and strategies to provide efficient and effective service to internal and external customers.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels and contract requirements are maintained.
  • Participate in an after-hours on call rotation.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training : follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years network infrastructure experience required.
  • Windows Server Administration experience is preferred.
  • Prefer CCNA or greater Cisco certification.
  • Ability to understand cyber security concepts.
  • Disaster Recovery knowledge.
  • Valid Nebraska driver’s license.

Working Environment :

Mostly indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards.

Medium workload lifting and / or carrying up to 20 pounds frequently and exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally.

Some travel required.
