POSITION : Preschool Assistant Teacher Employed through Edustaff
HOURS : 40 hours per week 8 hours per day
RATE OF PAY : $
REPORTS TO : Director of Childcare
Responsibilities :
Supervision of students in varied circumstances
Student, classroom and building support
Small group interventions as needed
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :
- High School diploma Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience with early childhood and / or preschool students preferred
- Ability to effectively understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and families.
- Demonstrated aptitude and competency interacting with children and adults
- Ability to work successfully with minimal direct supervision
- Demonstrated high level computer and excellent communication skills.
- Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings and verifications (background check etc.)
- Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule; punctual, reliable and predictable attendance is required
- First Aid / CPR / AED certification preferred or willing to obtain
- CPI Trained preferred or willing to train
