Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Enginee r to be based in New York, NY or Raleigh, NC .

This position is expected to begin in May or June 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

• Building analytic and design skills.
• Conducting engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Collecting and analyzing data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
• Using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
• Performing work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or other related engineering field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed coursework in concrete design and structural analysis and structural steel.
• Drafting / CAD applications (MicroStation, AutoCAD, and / or Civil 3D).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
