As the Technical Writer you will
Be responsible for delivering content requested by the government client or the Program Manager to help facilitate effective communication of projects or tasks, including policies, procedures, SOPs and presentations.
Your background will include
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Demonstrated experience (at least 3 years) delivering complex technical writing deliverables for Navy projects and programs.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and mastery of Microsoft products for presentations and documents.
The current task focus is process and performance improvement and project management. The work is located at the Navy Shipyards at Norfolk, VA or Portsmouth, ME , primarily working onsite, with some flexibility for limited telework as the project permits.
Client is looking for prior experience supporting Federal programs, preferably including Navy programs.
