Description :

Job Overview : The DRS calls on our patient’s doctors’ offices to collect documents and information missing from patient files : Rx / prescriptions, medical notes, signatures, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire requested documents, including and beyond, high-volume calling to doctors’ offices, calling patients with updates, and working with patients to collect required documentation from their doctor.
  • Make 100+ outgoing calls per day
  • Perform advanced administrative, data entry, and document chasing duties
  • Supply productivity reports, regularly
  • Partner with team members for support on related accounts.
  • Work with e-prescribe and CRM platforms, such as Brightree, Salesforce, etc.

Our ideal candidate has basic knowledge of medical terminology, an energetic, optimistic demeanor, and a can do / will do attitude!

  • Experience in chasing medical documentation and high-volume call activity
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Urgency, patience, professionalism, and empathy in dealing with elderly patients, busy medical professionals, and staff, etc.
  • Willingness to build relationships with medical offices, and patients over the phone
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills
  • Computer skills. Especially, Microsoft office
  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail
  • Dependable, reliable, and consistent
  • Database experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

Education

  • High School / Medical vocational / technical school graduates preferred
  • Experience level : medical office and / or durable medical equipment sales processing preferred
