We are seeking a dynamic and professional House Manager to oversee the seamless operation of a 30,000 sqf. prestigious estate.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled hospitality.
This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the highest level of service during family residency and guest visits.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage a diverse team comprising housekeeping, F&B, kitchen, assistant property managers, and spa departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the principals, addressing their needs and preferences promptly and professionally.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of hospitality within the household, fostering accountability and excellence among the team.
- Conduct daily house checks, develop checklists and SOPs, and ensure adherence to family preferences.
- Coordinate wardrobe management, conduct regular inventory checks, and assist with packing and unpacking as needed.
- Manage and update inventories across various departments, ensuring PAR levels are maintained.
- Oversee staff rostering, training, and development, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Implement and monitor SOPs and checklists, updating them based on principals' preferences or operational needs.
- Maintain budgets, obtain multiple quotes for purchases, and assist with budget analysis as needed
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in boutique hotels, yachts, or luxury lodging is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
- Professional demeanor, ability to work well under pressure, and effective communication skills.
- Intuitive nature with the ability to anticipate the principals' needs and prioritise tasks accordingly.
