Position Profile

Starwood Capital is currently seeking an HR Analyst to provide support to the Human Resources team in the Greenwich Office.

The HR Analyst will be responsible for data management, onboarding, reporting, and analytics across the organization, working closely with teams within Starwood's portfolio companies.

This position will support overall HR initiatives, and responsibilities will include the following :

  • Create a positive onboarding experience for new employees by preparing offer letters, distributing new hire packets, and ensuring the return of required paperwork and other onboarding materials.
  • Administration of HRIS including setting up new hires, deactivating terminated employees, and troubleshooting general problems in conjunction with IT.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of key data sets, reports, and metrics, including the preparation of org charts and company-wide contacts.
  • Complete monthly headcount reporting and other monthly and quarterly employee reporting.
  • Produce and deliver reports and dashboards and respond to ad-hoc requests based on business needs.
  • Update quarterly statistics for Investor Relations and respond to HR data requests from other functions, as needed.
  • Collect and track companywide PTO and Sick time.
  • Manage HR Compliance with I-9 Forms, Labor Law Posters, Employee Training and other Federal and State requirements, and maintain electronic personnel files.
  • Track and process data changes and assist with import files within the HRIS system.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and reporting tools (UltiPro / UKG knowledge is a plus)
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft office, particularly Excel
  • Resourceful, approachable, well-organized, highly dependable, and efficient
  • Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to build relationships and act as a resource for employee
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and introduces new ideas
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Sound judgment and understanding of when to escalate issues
  • Ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality
