(for 1+ years experience) Overview : Surgical 3A is a 33-bed unit, fast-paced med-surg telemetry unit which focuses on adult post- operative and trauma patients.
Nurse patient ratios are : Days 5 : 1, Nights 6 : 1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including : Head-to-toe assessments Reading and posting telemetry strips IV insertions Catheter, trach, and ostomy care Wound care Chest tubes Mercy is currently hiring exceptional nurses for the Surgical Trauma 3A unit! Available positions are as follows : Part-time Availability Day Shift (7am-7pm) Night Shift (7pm-7am) - Strongly desired! Qualifications : Education : Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.
Licensure : Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit. Certifications : Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
